Emmy Award winning, international TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” invited Supple Nam to participate as a choreographer in its first Australian season, hosted by Natalie Bassingthwaighte. Filmed in front of a live audience, Supple was delighted to return home to work back in Australia.
Originally asked to only participate in 2 episodes, executive producer Greg Beness and Series Producer Lawrence Yarwood offered Supple to choreograph for the remainder of Season 1 and invited him back for Seasons 2 & 3.
Supple’s choreographed routines inspired the Australian audience with his contemporary and innovative edge. Stretching Australia’s understanding of Hip-Hop boundaries, his routines have been remembered as classics; “Singing in the Rain” (Jack Chambers and Kate Wormald), “Cops and Robbers”(Charlie Bartley, BJ Rorke and Ben Vitch), and Boy Meets Girl (Rhys Bobridge and Kate Wormald).
