GIRLI @ BESTIVAL

Choreographer Supple Nam was asked to enhance, rework and finesse indie electro artist GIRLI on her live set. Focussing on her debut at Bestival, among other heavyweight artists such as Diplo, Dj Yoda, Hot Chip, MO, Major Lazer, Kano, Skepta, Wolf Alice, Years and Years and many more.

Supple Nam performance coached and directed Milly Toomey (GIRLI) and her DJ Kitty, allowing them to be creative and not feel restricted. Adding on their personality and unique relationship to the stage. He structured the live set by guiding the artists with movement, steps and use of the stage. Milly Toomey AKA Girli requested Supple to work on other areas in her live set, helping her clarify her vision and thoughts to build more confidence in the show. Still making it fun, spontaneous, creative and full of attitude while sending the message to the audience that is OK to be yourself and on edge.
